(3) SURREY INDOOR UNDER-17 MEN LONG JUMP RECORD, 11TH JANUARY 2026.
Competing in the South of England U17/U15/U13 Indoor Championships on 11th January 2026 Michael Maguire (Reigate Priory) improved the Under-17 Surrey Indoor Long Jump record with a jump of 7.52m. This is 1cm short of the British All Time u17 indoor record of 7.53m. The previous Surrey Record of 7.41m was set by Michael in December 2025.
(4) SURREY INDOOR UNDER-20 MEN 1500 METRES RECORD, 25TH JANUARY 2026.
Competing in the BMC Indoor Meeting held at Cardiff on 25th January 2026 Ethan Newell (Sutton & District) improved the U20M Surrey Indoor 1500m record with a time of 3:49.59. The previous record of 3:50.73 was set by Richard Ward (Belgrave) in 2001.
(5) SURREY INDOOR UNDER-20 MEN 800 METRES & 5000 METRES RECORDS, 31ST JANUARY 2026.
Competing in the Boston University Thomas Terrier Classic (Collegiate) Meeting held at Boston MA, USA on 31st January 2026 Christopher Cull (Sutton & District) set a new U20M Surrey Indoor 5000m record with a time of 15:21.85.
Competing in the EAP International Meeting held at the Emirates Arena, Glasgow on 31st January 2026 Matthew McKenna (Walton AC) set a new bRITISH U20M Indoor 800m record with a time of 1:48.20. This was over 3 seconds faster than the previous Surrey record of 1:51.44 set by Thomas Staines in 2017
